The SMH and others have reported:
Forensic analysis of video and audio from a pro-Palestine Opera House protest in October has found no evidence a potentially criminal antisemitic phrase was used, police say, but the Minns government has stood by its response to the rally, calling it “violent and racist”.
A video of the protest purported to show a small group of protesters chanting “gas the Jews” while outside Sydney’s most iconic building. However, police said an expert review had concluded the phrase uttered was “where’s the Jews”, although other antisemitic phrases had been chanted.
The expert report by Michael Wagner, honorary professor at the Australian National University and emeritus professor at Canberra University, said his analysis of 11 chants “has resulted in overwhelming certainty that all 11 instances of the disputed chant consist of the phrase ‘Where’s the Jews’.”
To paraphrase, the chant was "Where's the Jews, Allahu Akbar Takbeer,f ...k the Jews". Muslim and other pro-Palestinian groups insistt that the Holocaust reference was not uttered and the protest was peaceful. There has however been no explanation as as to why the delaration of faith "Allahuakbar Takbeer" was uttered, followed by the obviously profane f...k the Jews.
However the chant Where's the Jews, Allahu Akbar Takbeer F...k the Jews does bear similarity to a Koranic commentary that Muslims often recount when speaking of the Jews.
The Washington Institute in an artcile on hate sermons notes:
Often in (hate) sermons, preachers cite this Hadith predicting an apocalyptic battle based on theological teachings that on the eve of Judgment Day Muslims would annihilate Jews. Rocks and trees will callout to Muslims and say, “O Muslim, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him.”
The hadith quoted in full states:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.
This and other similar pronouncements are provided below to prove the point that this is not an obscure teaching.
It does seem therefore that the Opera House protestors were referring to that hadith, and hence even if the phrase "gas the Jews" was not uttered, they intended an outcome not different to Hitler's Final Solution and his gas chambers.

Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: You will fight against the Jews and you will kill them until even a stone would say: Come here, Muslim, there is a Jew (hiding himself behind me); kill him.
Ubaidullah has reported this hadith with this chain of transmitters (and the Words are): "There is a Jew behind me."
Abdullah b. 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: You and the Jews would fight against one another until a stone would say: Muslim, here is a Jew behind me; come and kill him.
Abdullah b. 'Umar reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: The Jews will fight against you and you will gain victory over them until the stone would say: Muslim, here is a Jew behind me; kill him.
Jabir b. Samura reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Before the Last Hour there would be many liars, and there is an addition in the badith transmitted on the authority of Abu Ahwas of these words: "I said to him: Did you hear it from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)? He said: Yes."
