Westerners like Forrest condemn beheading under sharia but seem happy to utilise that method when it suits
Australian billionaire Andrew Forrest has demanded that the decapitated heads of oil company chiefs be displayed on spikes as punishment for producing fossil fuels. Forrest issued his threat in Dubai, in theMiddle East where oil and gas companies are usually state-owned and effectively controlled by the ruling royal families.
Australian law enforcement agencies have charged their citizens for far less threatening statements, under a variety of laws. As an Australian citizen Forrest is likely to be subject to Australia's laws wherever he commits the offence. That his statements were directed at heads of state may add further dmisnesions to the likely crimes.
The Government Of Australia has therefore a duty to have Forrest' investigated and charged.
