The NSW Law Society's College Of Law is attempting to enter the Indian market via its College Of Legal Practice in the UK.
The College Of Legal Practice is a going concern only because of parent company financial support. The following statement from its auditors is extracted from its financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2022.
It needed an additional STG 6 Million in funding out of Sydney in November 2022.
The College Of Law's attempt to break into the Malaysian market failed, and the venture ended under a cloud. The College and its Australian management have refused to provide any explanation for the sudden departure of its Malaysian representative, and the closure of its business in Malaysia. Meanwhile, it has commenced business in the UK, on the strength of its Asian and Malaysian experience. The details of the Malaysian experience have not been disclosed to students in the UK.
It now appears that the College Of Law is attempting to enter the Indian market without bothering to provide Indian students any information about its Malaysian debacle.
