In what appears to be a means of justifying SIngtel-Optus Managing Director Gladys Berejiklian's continued employment at the company, Singtel-Optus has issued a statement to say that it " acknowledges the ICAC report published in relation to Gladys Berejiklian’s time serving as a member of the NSW Parliament" ..
That report includes the finding that Berejiklian was " seriously corrupt" while serving as premier of NSW, and in turn complicates matters for Singtel-Optus' primary clients, the Government Of Singapore, and companies linked to it.
The Government Of Singapore has always maintained zero tolerance for corrupt politicians anywhere, and to have one serving on the leadership team of one of its largest companies, with which it also does business, must surely be unacceptable.

SGX listed, Temasek controlled Singtel runs into a serious governance problem : Singtel Optus Managing director Gladys Berejiliklian found to have engaged in serious corrupt conduct , but cannot be sacked because employment contract includes clause that allows her to keep her job regardless of an adverse corrpution finding
by Ganesh Sahatevan
The above has just been reported by The Australian . The TEN news channel has reported that Berejiklian's Optus remuneration package is estimated to be AUD 1 Million.
Optus is wholly-owned by Singtel, which is listed on the SGX, and has continuous disclosure obligations, so all of the above must be announced to the SGX.
Singtel is also owned by Temasek, so Temasek is now in a quandary, given the very high standards of probity expected of public officers.
Meanwhile, there are already questions about Berejiklian's conduct while at Optus.
