The above is an extract from an Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority Singapore (ACRA) company search. The company was incorporated in 1991 and had its name changed in 1992 to Immobilliarie Holdings Pte Ltd in 1992.
The director, Dato Wong Gian Kui, is CEO of Insas Bhd, among other corporate appointments. His directorship of Immobiliarie has not been disclosed in any Bursamalaysia announcements which concern him.
The company has two shareholders, Dato Thong Kok Khee, and Thong Weng Sheng who are also directors. of the company. Kok Khee controls Insas and held various posts including that of CEO and deputy chairman until 2019. Gian Kui succeeded Kok Khee as CEO of Insas in 2019.
Other directors include Yeoh Kwee Swee, Thong Mei Chuen, Soon Li Yen. The documents at the links provided will show that all have a connection to Insas, the first two as shareholders, and the third as a director.
The exotic sounding name may sound familiar to fans of the Francis Ford Capolla Godfather series.
Immobilliarie is the name of the company Michael Corleone takes over by force in Godfather III, which was released in 1990. Immobilliarie Holdings Pte Ltd is not mentioned anywhere in Insas annual reports or other BursaMalaysia announcements. There is however mention of Immobilliarie Holdings Sdn Bhd as a shareholder of Insas, which appears to be controlled by Kok Khee.
