The Australian Government led by Labor Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has struck a deal with the Greens to pass Labor's plans to reduce carbon emissions.
The Greens say the amendments they have secured will ensure at least half of the 116 fossil fuel projects in the pipeline won’t go ahead.

As this writer noted almost a year ago Indonesia, Malaysia and perhaps Brunei can easily replace any oil and gas that is excluded from international markets by a Labor-Green-Teal government which may ban new oil and gas fields, and possibly make further production and exploration uneconomic.
