Zelensky offers Australian companies contracts worth very many billions for the rebuilding of Ukraine's southern region, including the Black Sea ports , suggests that Ukranians in Australia could be intermediaries

Azerbaycana has reported that in his address to the Australian Parliament yesterday Ukraine President 

Volodymyr Zelenskyy  called  " on Australia to join reconstruction work in Ukraine::

the Australian government has given us the status of a solidarity country. I invite your country to pay attention to our southern regions, the shores of the Black and Azov. Seas. The restoration of our ports, the development of cities like Kherson, the revival of the Ukrainian navy can be significant contributions to the establishment of stability after this terrible war,” the Ukrainian leader said in a video address to the Australian Parliament.

The offer has in fact been made, and it can be confirmed in the ABC recording above, from 19:45 onwards. The contracts would be worth very many billions in Australian dollars, and Zelensky has in fact suggested that Ukranians in Australia could join in the effort, presumably as intermediaries between the Ukranian Government and Australian companies.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on Australia to join the reconstruction work in the country’s regions.

“We call on the world’s major powers, large companies, and well-known experts to join the Ukraine reconstruction project. Let them take care of the regions, cities, and separate areas of our country that need to be restored. To this end, the Australian government has given us the status of a solidarity country. I invite your country to pay attention to our southern regions, the shores of the Black and Azov Seas. The restoration of our ports, the development of cities like Kherson, the revival of the Ukrainian navy can be significant contributions to the establishment of stability after this terrible war,” the Ukrainian leader said in a video address to the Australian Parliament.

Zelensky used his address to plea directly for Australia to contribute practical military equipment like its Bushmaster armored (sic) vehicles.
