Lee Kuan Yew's white trash of Asia: Former Australian Ambassador to China Geoff Raby's face on bottles of wine sold by Australian winery owned by China

In the 1980s Lee Kuan Yew warned that Australians were in danger of becoming the white trash of Asia. This has to be an obvious example of what he meant. Can anyone image a former ambassador of any country in this region demeaning himself, and his country , in this manner?
